Organic Brown rice flour is used as part of an ideal substrate for some species of fungi. These substrates are called BRF of PF-Tek. BRF simply stands for Brown Rice Flour. PF TEK is the name of a cultivation method of mushrooms designed to be cheap in raw materials and easy to grow mushrooms from.Only vermiculite and water are added to the brown rice flour and you substrate is ready to go in to the glass jar to make the perfect nutritious grounds for P. Cubensis mushrooms. This way it is possible to continue the research on mushroom spores.
